When I was in AFRICA

Africa Day in the Iveagh Gardens. The weather was amazing, the atmosphere was electric and the music included performances from Cathy Davey, The Republic of Loose, Paddy Casey, Jape, Kila and many more. It was an incredible Sunday in Dublin. Here's some pics . . .

St. Patrick's Festival 2009

10 hours and numerous beers later, I finally get the chance to post my pictures from the St. Patrick's Day festival Parade in Dublin. The weather was great, the people were in flying form and the day went off brilliantly. With 675,000 people attending the parade on Tuesday, it's not surprising that there's the odd head stuck in the frame, but I did what I could. Enjoy, Gary.

Spheres - Dublin Docklands.

Never one to miss a photo opportunity, I ventured down to Grand Canal Dock for a public performance piece titled Spheres. Co presented by St Patrick's Festival and the Docklands Authority The Spheres is a unique spectacle performance which has broad family appeal. According to the Dublin Docklands website; "Creation, exultation, liberation, life, the universe and everything. The show takes a whimsical look at physics, the miracle of birth and humanity's existential relationship to our planet.

Performed by Strange Fruit a Melbourne-based performing arts company that produces and performs a remarkable style of work that fuses theatre, dance and circus, using a unique elevated medium."

Anyway, Here's my shots. enjoy.
